About the Co-op
We are proud to be members of a group promoting mutual well being through our work of building. This approach to building includes clients, suppliers and the greater community. Our ideal is to be non-exploitive of others and provide our clients with an honest, good value.
Our business structure as a Workers' Cooperative is unique in that all members are equal partners. Each of us serves a rotating roll in the administration of the business. We compensate ourselves with the same wage and benefits, and at the close of business cycles share the profits through a patronage system that is based on the hours worked. When you work with us you will always be dealing with a 'vested' owner.
We believe a good business not only provides a good service or product but must also be an environment where individuals thrive. As co-op members our work is not only the craft of building, but the running of the business as well. We are each challenged with understanding and directing the way our work gets done and insuring that our clients are satisfied. We seem to thrive on this responsibility and enjoy the varied rewards that come with it.
