The Beach House

Situated on the north shore of Birch Point, this high-performance beach home enjoys a view across Boundary Bay and the BC Coastal Range beyond. The spacious 2-story great room provides a comfortable spot to watch the winter storms roll across the bay. In all but the worst weather, this home invites you to open the doors and find a comfortable spot outside. Whether that be on a misty afternoon curled up with a blanket and book on the covered deck by the outdoor fireplace, or a clear summer evening enjoying good food and a glass of wine while sitting around the firepit with loved ones. Designed for indoor-outdoor living the many decks, patios, and porches welcome friends and family to gather.

What also sets this home apart is the design/build focus regarding the principles of high-performance building: energy efficiency, durability, healthy indoor air, and comfort. All aspects of a home that make our lives better. In the wet, dark of winter, Washingtonians really appreciate the great indoor air, natural lighting, and the consistent, comfortable temperatures throughout their home. In the spring, summer, and fall when the outdoors beckon, we are grateful for a home that needs very little maintenance.
